My research focuses on policies and programs that influence teacher labor markets, school and district leadership, and issues of educational equity. Specifically, my research borrows methods from machine learning, natural language processing (NLP) and econometrics to analyze educator and leadership development, working conditions, and mobility.

Prior to my doctoral studies, I worked as a full-stack software engineer in app development. I hold a B.S. in Computer Science from Duke University and a M.A. in Social Research Methodology from UCLA.
